Little Cherub System

With increased concerns both locally and nationally regarding the security of our children, we at Insight (UK) Ltd have developed the 'LITTLE CHERUB SYSTEM' that alerts staff when children are approaching areas of concern within the facility such as main entrance and exits, kitchens and also stair and lift areas.

In 2000 we were approached by a Nursery that was looking for an extra safety measure to alert staff when children wandered unsupervised into an area that may cause concern. The Little Cherub System delivered a way to protect the children even further, giving peace of mind to their parents and allowing staff to spend their time more constructively as well as keeping a watchful eye on their whereabouts.

The Little Cherub System is loosely based on the tried and tested Retail Anti-theft Systems of which you will have been more aware of in the retail environment. The equipment consists of a pair of Alarming Radio-Frequency Pedestals normally positioned at your doorway (entrance/exit) that would activate if or when a child with a Safety Badge tries to pass through.

The Safety Badges are attached to each child's clothing and can only be properly removed by using the recognised Safety Badge Remover. We have had our Badges produced in an assortment of colours, although pink and blue seem to be the most popular, this doesn't add anything to the Badge but for the children just adds a little fun and a burst of colour. Some of our facilities even add a personal touch by hand painting them with non-metallic paints making them even more desirable and individual to the children.  

Our 'Little Cherub System' is already being used successfully in schools, nurseries, soft play areas and supermarket crèches throughout the UK.
