EAS Labels (Soft Tags)

Insight (UK) Ltd are a leading supplier of EAS Labels (Soft Tags) in all three technology formats Radio Frequency, Electro Magnetic and Acousto Magnetic.

These Labels are designed to operate in a similar way to a traditional Hard Tag when presented to their corresponding Tagging System they will create an alarm alerting the retail staff that goods may be leaving the store without having been paid for. This level of protection allows retailers to increase the amount of live open displayed merchandise encouraging an increase in sales through impulse purchase.

EAS Labels can easily be disguised to look like standard retail Swing Tickets or be incorporated into product packaging. Many styles can be overprinted with corporate identity or www advertising for marketing purposes. Labels can also be made overt and have printing such as 'Security Protected' or 'This item is protected please do not remove until after purchase' deterring opportunist theft by bringing security to the forefront of consumers minds. Labels are deactivated at the point of sale when the sale is being processed allowing customers to leave the store with little or no knowledge of the deactivation process. 

The development of EAS Labels has also allowed the retail market to benefit from a process called Source Tagging.
