Insight (UK) Ltd carry a full range of Label Deactivation and Hard Tag Detachers covering Radio Frequency, Electro Magnetic, Acousto Magnetic and 66kHz Technology and Tags. Our Deactivation and Detachers integrate well with point of sale procedures maximising efficiency for the final sales process. 

Deactivation in general is a seamless process of passing goods over or onto a Deactivation Pad at the point of sale to render the Tag in-active allowing the client to exit the store freely without activating the System. 

Detachers are used to remove Hard Tags, Benefit Denial Tags and Safers from products. This process was traditionally carried out in two methods, Mechanical Detachers and Magnetic Detachers. Detachers are steadily moving toward Magnetic removal, this has always been the traditional method for Radio Frequency, Electro Magnetic and 66kHz Tags and we are now seeing many Acousto Magnetic Tags using this extremely efficient method of detaching Tags from products. Development of the magnetic detaching process has seen the introduction of the ‘Superlock' Detacher replacing the Standard Lock Detacher.  Superlock Detachers more than double the level of security for client's products and has also sped up the process of the removal of Tags with its stronger more efficient magnet.
