RFID Curtain Antenna

This revolutionary Technology sees the integration of Loss Prevention and Inventory management in one easy move. The RFID NXP Curtain Antenna combines EAS and RFID functionality in one system, showing exactly where the future of inventory and shrinkage control is headed for retail. One system that allows the use of a dual function tag that deters theft and provides inventory management has been desired for many years and it's available now!

The EAS function is made possible by an extra bit of memory within the tags Ucode chip, this extra bit of code allows the system to know whether the item has been purchased or not. The software controlling the system issues an alarm when an unsold items is detected leaving the store. This allows retailers to utilise the benefits of RFID in there inventory control and combine it with the very important Shrink reduction.

Tags can be supplied in traditional plastic security tag style and as printable adhesive RFID paper circuits.

The almost Invisible System solves the dilemma faced by retailers and store designers who may have to make concessions for the appearance of a Security Tagging System. Antennas are fitted above the existing door frame area creating a consistent field of detection around the doorframe for the detection of all 865MHz (UHF) programmed store Tags. Maximum Hang Height between 3 & 4 Meters dependant on environment. Curtain Side Angle of Coverage 20°
